Client: US-based industrial equipment importer

Issue: Large-scale quality defects discovered after delivery

The buyer received multiple shipments of industrial components that failed to meet agreed technical specifications. The Chinese manufacturer denied liability, citing internal quality reports.

Resolution: Independent inspection was conducted in China, technical evidence was preserved, and CIETAC arbitration was initiated. The dispute was resolved through a compensation settlement.

Client: EU trading company

Issue: Failure to refund prepaid amounts

After contract termination due to delivery failure, the Chinese exporter refused to return advance payments exceeding USD 800,000.

Resolution: A structured debt recovery strategy combining legal notices, asset investigation, and arbitration preparation resulted in a legally enforceable repayment settlement.

Client: Middle East consumer goods distributor

Issue: Chronic delivery delays causing downstream losses

Repeated delivery failures by the Chinese supplier caused missed market deadlines and contractual penalties under resale agreements.

Resolution: Delay-related losses were quantified and liquidated damages provisions enforced through negotiation.

Client: UK-based sourcing company

Issue: Unilateral termination by Chinese exporter

The exporter terminated the supply contract without contractual grounds following a market price increase.

Resolution: Arbitration proceedings were commenced, resulting in compensation for lost profits and incurred costs.

The Chinese OEM altered product designs without approval and sold similar products to third parties.

Resolution: Contract enforcement combined with IP protection measures resulted in cessation of infringement and compensation.

Client: Asian regional distributor

Despite a favorable arbitral award, enforcement was resisted through asset concealment.

Resolution: Asset tracing and court enforcement procedures resulted in successful recovery.

Client: Singapore wholesale buyer

Issue: Refusal to deliver goods after payment

The buyer paid a substantial deposit under a Singapore-law governed export contract. The Chinese exporter failed to deliver the goods and subsequently ceased all communications.

Resolution: Civil proceedings were first commenced before a Singapore court, which rendered a final judgment in favor of the buyer. The buyer then applied to a Chinese People’s Court for recognition and enforcement of the Singapore court judgment. The Chinese court granted recognition in accordance with applicable international judicial assistance principles and domestic law, and successfully enforced the judgment against the exporter’s assets located in China, enabling the buyer to recover its losses.
